“I am thrilled to join the Senate leadership team as President Pro Tem,” said Mullica. “Together, we’re committed to tackling the most pressing issues facing our state, lowering costs, and making every dollar stretch a little further for Colorado families.”
“As our new Senate Majority Leader, I’m ready to hit the ground running and make sure we’re equipped to work together to move forward a legislative agenda that lowers costs and makes people’s lives better,” said Roberts. “I’ve spent my legislative career fighting for Colorado families in all parts of our state and I’m honored to be given the opportunity to continue that work while making sure our caucus has the support, preparation, and leadership they need to succeed. I’m immensely grateful for my colleagues’ trust and confidence.”
“During my time in the Senate we have passed impactful legislation to tackle the climate crisis, protect our civil liberties and voting rights, and make life a little easier for working people,” said Wallace. “As Assistant Majority Leader, I look forward to helping keep the Senate running smoothly and supporting my colleagues so that we can meet this critical moment.”
“It’s been an honor to serve the people of Aurora in the House and Senate, and I’m excited to take on a new role serving as Majority Whip,” said Jodeh. “I’m ready to help keep our caucus organized, informed, and united as we make the tough decisions needed to deliver for Coloradans.”
“As Senate Democratic Caucus Chair, I’ll be focused on keeping all of our Democratic members focused and united as we do everything possible in the coming months to put working Coloradans’ first,” said Marchman. “I’m honored to have been elected by my colleagues and look forward to working with this leadership team to build a better future for all Colorado families.”
“The upcoming legislative session will bring challenging decisions for the Joint Budget Committee as we fulfill our duty to balance Colorado’s state budget,” said Amabile. “These difficult conversations call for steady, thoughtful leadership, and I am honored that my Senate colleagues have elected me to continue to be that leader for another year with the JBC.”
“I’m proud of the work I’ve done on the Joint Budget Committee during my time in the House and I look forward to continuing that work in the Senate,” said Sirota. “I thank my new colleagues for choosing me to continue the important work of balancing our state budget. I remain committed to putting working people first, expanding access to affordable healthcare and housing, and making sure every Colorado family has the opportunity to get ahead.”
The legislative session will begin January 11, 2027.
